How often is BackTape applied?

Twice a week for two hours each time. There should be at least 48 hours between two applications.

How many patches are in a pack?

8 patches. At the recommended use, one pack lasts about four weeks.

Can I use a patch more than once?

No. For hygiene reasons, the patch is intended for a single application.

Does BackTape have to sit exactly in the center?

According to the manufacturer's FAQ, an absolutely exact central position is not required.

Can I move normally during the application?

Yes. No special body posture is required; normal everyday activities are possible.

What do I do if the patch comes loose when I move?

Lean forward while applying it, then put the patch on. This may cause wrinkles when you straighten up; according to the manufacturer, this is not a problem.

Is BackTape a medical device?

Yes, BackTape is a CE-marked medical device. The instructions for use are included in every pack.

What is the golden element on the patch?

A visible feature of BackTape. If it comes off the patch, according to the manufacturer this has no effect on the application.

Why does a pack cost €98?

A pack is not a single application, but about four weeks of routine: eight applications at €12.25 each, no device, no appointment, at home.

Does BackTape replace physical therapy?

No. BackTape can be integrated into an existing physical therapy or exercise-based approach, but does not replace it.
